Waiting for winter to end; as good an excuse as any to do digital manipulation.
The image was converted to black and white using the Carr technique. The original color image was then overlaid, and the layer mask on the solid color layer that the Carr method produces was copied to this color layer. This results in colored shadows and desaturated highlights as seen in the above image.
Somewhere a few days ago I had my second. My second bloggiversary gift is one of these, which has finally arrived today.
Been working on a number of different projects, both at and not at work, and will be starting another this afternoon when I start my research project with Dr. Ruffin.
