Man, read Watership Down (and, admittedly, watch the movie) and suddenly everything looks like rabbits. So it’s time to have a roundup of bunny links.
First, you’ve all seen the TISM music video, so we’ll move on.
Watership Down goes out of its way to make the point that rabbits are not just cute and fluffy. Given half a chance, they will indeed beat the crap out of each other. Some bunnies can’t handle the violence and instead choose to end it all.
The lucky rabbits are able to get away from their violent nature and take up acting. However, their inability to count higher than about five leads to a very short attention span.
As we emerge from winter into spring, the rabbits are coming back out of their burrows. Unfortunately, none of them saw this week’s cold snap coming.
There’s also the odd bunny who’s already wearing the latest spring fashions. Of course this particular rabbit has had identity issues before.
As heard on LNN (the Lapine News Network): “Hrududu saves rabbit from elil, details fu InlĂ©.” [Ed: Oh, come on. Hey! This is hard! Work with me here.] LNN also reports on this disturbing story of brash capitalism gone awry.
The bunny invasion of LiveJournal continues unabated.
Incidentally, we have to wonder if El-ahrairah had help.
Finally, don’t forget to read to (and pat) your seven-foot bunny.
