Just took the GRE. Some notes:
- Now THAT was humiliating!
- The GRE POWERPREP software does not reliably predict scores. It overpredicted mine by about 100 points on each section.
- Luckily my score doesn’t matter too much.
- Why do I seem to do better than I should on verbal compared to quantitative on these standardized tests?
I get my official scores in about two weeks, including the as-yet unscored analytical writing section.

I wasn’t a big fan of the GRE myself. I think they make words up specifically for the test… because a lot of the ones I had on my exam couldn’t possibly be used in real life!
